Hi! I’m Scarlett Brisbin and I am so happy to be the Westlake Wire’s 2025-26 photo editor. This is my third year on staff, but I have been in this specific position for two years. I joined the newspaper because I love all the visual aspects of the page and especially how visuals are incorporated to tell or contribute to a story. Also, my friends in the class are definitely a big factor! Outside of journalism, I usually am taking photos for the yearbook, listening to music, watching movies or driving to the beach. Hi! My name is Liv and this is my second year on staff at The Westlake Wire. This year, I am both the Web Editor-in-Chief and the Arts and Entertainment section editor. Outside of journalism, I work for a PAC, run my own debate club, and teach sign language to other students on campus. My favorite subject is history with my passion being politics and law. I hope to one day become a district attorney or become a congresswoman. In my free time I like to play piano, guitar, and make music, as well as go to the gym and Zuma beach with friends. I am thrilled to be on staff again this year!
