Hi! My name is Tenee Besson and this is my first year on the Westlake Wire staff. While journalism was not my first-choice elective, I quickly grew to enjoy writing stories and designing pages that I can be proud of. Journalism is a great way to not only channel my creativity and learn valuable skills that I can carry over to other pursuits, but it teaches me how to collaborate and work as part of a team. Outside of journalism, I enjoy playing basketball, traveling, and procrastinating on my homework.
